MindBoard AI (the "Service") is operated by José A. García Atencia, Barranquilla, Colombia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

1. Data we collect

Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password.
Debate data: the business questions you submit, your company profile (business type, location, revenue, etc.), and the generated reports.
Usage data: number of debates per month, plan, and technical logs for security and performance.
Payment data: handled entirely by Paddle (our payment processor). We never see or store your card details.

2. How we use your data

To provide the Service: run your debates and generate reports.
To manage your account, plan, and billing limits.
To improve the Service, detect abuse, and ensure security.
To contact you about your account or important changes.

3. AI processing (important)

To generate debates, your question and company context are sent to DeepSeek, our AI provider. This means the content you submit is processed by a third-party AI service to produce the analysis. Do not submit sensitive personal data, trade secrets, or information you are not authorized to share.

4. Third parties

Paddle — payments, billing, and subscriptions (merchant of record).
DeepSeek — AI model processing of debate content.
Neon / Render — database and hosting infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with the providers above to operate the Service, under their own privacy and security obligations.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and browser local storage to remember your preferences (language, business profile). We do not use advertising trackers.

6. Retention & security

Your account and debate history are kept while your account is active. Passwords are stored hashed (never in plain text). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at admin@mindboardai.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. You can also delete your account data by contacting us with the same email you registered with.
